Bluestone Basecamp is an impressive compound, comprised of 3 unique dwellings on 7 private acres. Hawk Knoll is a 1940s brick manor with 6 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms, featuring astounding Catskill mountain views. Emerick Cottage is a 1913 Victorian with 5.5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a large inground pool. The carriage house has 2 more bedrooms and a charmingly renovated bathroom and kitchen with exposed brick and natural wood details. No parties or events as per Airbnb's guidelines. With 7 acres of property there is plenty of space for everyone to relax or socialize. The landscaped, inground pool is large and private and the perfect place to spend a hot summer day. Sweeping lawns are ideal for outdoor games or just taking in the view and the firepit is a wonderful spot to gather at night to tell stories and roast marshmallows. Hawk Knoll features a large dining room and double parlor with baby grand piano and bar, wood-burning fireplace, chefs kitchen and large enclosed porch. The bedrooms are spacious as well--4 of them have private baths, while the 2 large bedrooms on the third floor share a full bath. The first floor of Emerick Cottage has an enclosed wrap-around porch, spacious living room, dining room, renovated kitchen and a king bedroom with en suite bath. The second floor has 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and lounge with 55" TV. There is another bedroom and loft area on the third floor. The recently renovated 2-bedroom carriage house apartment is a private retreat, with lots of charm and character. Together the 3 dwellings make up Bluestone Basecamp which is located 3 miles north of the village of Saugerties, and has the most incredible views of the Catskill mountains. Guests have access to all the grounds and features of both houses, including fire pits, grills and 7 acres of property. We will not be onsite during your stay and offer key-less entry to both houses. Both houses have brochures, maps, guide books and local magazines to help guest choose activities and adventures in the Hudson Valley and Catskill Mountain region.
