It is located in the historic Ajuda neighborhood, home to the official residence of Portugal’s last king (Palácio da Ajuda) and one of Lisbon’s oldest and most distinctive areas, currently undergoing a major urban renewal project, just 800 meters from Belém. Guest access Guests have access to the entire apartment during their stay, including the living room, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and balcony. The apartment is located in a traditional building and is accessible by stairs. Access to the building is through the main door, which is locked, and the apartment door is also locked. Check-in is done in person. Guests will meet the host at the building entrance and will be contacted in advance with check-in details. Other things to note Check-in is between 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Between 8:00 PM and midnight, a late check-in fee of €25 will be charged. Between midnight and 8:00 AM, a very late check-in fee of €45 will be charged. The apartment is located in a traditional Lisbon building and is accessible only by stairs. As it is an old building, it features characteristics typical of constructions from that era. Located in a traditional neighborhood, it offers a more local and authentic Lisbon experience, away from the most touristy areas. Since it is on the first floor, we recommend keeping the windows closed when you leave. We ask guests to respect the neighbors and the residential nature of the building.
