Kazanpop, Zarboutan Room

My husband Christophe, myself (Maud) and our youngest son Mahé welcome you to "kazanpop", which means original, unique house, in Reunion Creole. The house has a multiple and pleasant outdoor space where everyone can find their place. We have three rooms available for hosting. At Kazanpop, everyone is on a first-name basis, life is simple and friendly. You will be 10 minutes from the airport, 15 minutes from the city center. (bus line for both). The space The house has 9 rooms, 2 verandas (terraces) and an unheated pool. It is composed of two "wings", one of which is dedicated to guests. In this "wing", a corridor leads to three bedrooms that can be rented separately as well as a separate toilet and bathroom, to be shared between guests. The Zarboutan room is dedicated to Reunion culture. A Zarboutan in Reunion Creole first of all designates the buttress arch of a dwelling, but this word is now used to designate someone on whom one can rely, and by extension the holder and transmitter of knowledge related to a specific field (e.g. a zarboutan of maloya). The bedroom has a 140 bed, two bedside tables, a storage closet, a small table and a high chair. Guest access Guests have access to all common areas of the house, including the pool of course. They can use the kitchen and have a fridge and a "guest box*" in the laundry room. If needed, we can print boarding passes or other simple documents. *Guest box FOR guests and BY guests (you leave what you don't want to take back and that could be used by future guests). Other things to note Check-in is from 5pm onwards on Sundays We do NOT provide towels for ECOLOGICAL reasons. (travelers are often passing through for one night, we wash sheets that have only been used once, we do not want to multiply this necessary aberration for towels.) However, if you don't have any for your entire stay, of course, we'll provide you with some. House strongly discouraged for non-swimming children as the pool does not have a security system and there is no barrier.
