The Little Green House

Brand new in June 2019, this is a modern, rustic little house on a private, quiet lot surrounded by pine and spruce trees. Beautiful walking trails are close by as are Bean North coffee shop, the Yukon Wildlife Preserve and the Takhini Hot Springs. Great view of the dark sky for northern lights viewing in winter from inside or outside on the large deck, or in the yard at the dedicated fire pit. There is also a large professional recording studio on the property. The space The Little Green House is a cozy, modern house with brand new appliances and furniture. There are large windows throughout the house, letting in lots of light and views of the surrounding forest. You can totally black out with the blinds if you choose. The house has electric heating and a full water system with hot water, shower and washer and dryer. There is a double bed in the bedroom with a cozy duvet and a pull-out sofa in the living room for extra guests. Northern lights viewing is magnificent here as there are no city lights hindering the view of the sky. There is a large network of private walking/cross country trails within a 3-minute walk. The recording studio is called Green Needle Records and can be found online. It can be booked to coincide with your stay here at the cabin. Guest access Outdoor fire pit and lounge area for northern light viewing and BBQ’s over open fire. Smoking area. Large wrap around deck that is 6’ deep, some parts dry from rain. Other things to note Please let us know ahead of time if you would like to use the fire pit. Firewood packages are $25 and include starter wood and enough wood for about 4 hours.
