Description
Birnam Guest House is a listed building in the quiet centre of Birnam, Dunkeld. The Victorian stone building offers 2 double, a twin and 2 large family rooms (for 3/4) all en-suite. We have a large dining room/lounge with fireplace and gardens. Ideally located to the woodlands of Birnam Hill and opposite the Birnam Arts Centre and Beatrix Potter Garden we have a unique place with excellent transport links to the A9 north (Pitlochry and Inverness) and south (Perth, Edinburgh and Glasgow). The space You will have your own private room with en-suite facilities and a key to come and go as you please. In addition we serve a lovely breakfast with lots of options including vegetarian, cereals or a full Scottish breakfast with locally sourced food. Guest access You will have access to the lounge area as well as the room, a conservatory, private car park and garden. We also have a lounge dining room with lots of books and magazines for you to read and for the kids there are games and kids books. During your stay We offer advice and help to all guests with local knowledge, local maps and suggestions on where to wine and dine. Free maps of the area are available on request. We have an excellent knowledge of the area and organise many events in the village, check the website for details. We are also committed to the environment and wildlife in the area and run wildlife tours. Please enquire for details. Other things to note We allow well behaved small and medium dogs for a small charge £5 per night.
