If you want a privileged location and a memorable stay, rest easy in our bright, cozy and quiet apartment located in the heart of Oporto's Old Town, an UNESCO world heritage site. It’s just a few minutes’ walk to the famous Ribeira Square, cross the Douro River on Luis I bridge to reach funicular port by Gaia (other side). Indeed, you can explore all of the main tourist attractions nearby. Amazing restaurants are just a few steps away with easy access to public transportation. This is a two bedroom apartment with the living room and kitchen and full bathroom laid out in an open space, having plenty of natural light and air coming through the window and large glass door. Interior bedroom 1 with a double beds., Bedroom 2 with a double bed are stocked with fresh linen. The unit is on the top floor of the building with an elevator, plus quiet from the concrete construction insulation. The Entire building has been completely renovated while preserving the historical façade. It has Free Wifi high speed. Living room area has a TV with international channels, and a large comfortable sofa. The small balcony is the perfect place to have a morning coffee and enjoy the beautiful, traditional Porto cityscape. On the balcony, you could savor the views of the Porto Sé (Cathedral), the river and Roman alley below. We have an adjacent apartment for accommodating up to 8 guests if combined w/ this unit. Right next to our building you'll find a grocery shop (with every thing you might need for a small stay and a great wine selection!), bakeries, laundries, cafes, and restaurants. You can roam through all the historic city center on foot. If preferred, you can choose from a vast range of public transportation offers (bus, metro and tram). Take the opportunity to enjoy the Douro river and both banks, with its scenic bridges and known touristic “must-sees”, cultural centers and the wonderful local gastronomy and oenology. Traveling along Douro banks into the sea, you can reach the Gaia beaches (south) or to Foz, Matosinhos and Leça da Palmeira’s beaches (north) where you can enjoy a sunny day. At a walking distance, you can reach the most interesting areas of Oporto’s night scene, in the city center and near Clérigos Tower, with a great variety of restaurants and bars. Street parking is allowed, paid but not plentiful. There is a paid underground parking garage 2 mins away (but expensive).
