An extensive remodel in the 1970s included the unique Mansard roof architecture and corner windows. The front covered patio welcomes you into the large entryway with cathedral style hardwood floors. To your immediate left through two unique wood doors you will find the newly updated, luxurious custom kitchen. The kitchen boasts a Viking six burner gas stove, Viking oven, Viking refrigerator, and built-in microwave. The kitchen is stocked with your basic cooking, baking, and coffee/tea needs. It offers plenty of counter space to enjoy prepping meals together. It has a separate bar sink and coffee making area with a quaint seating window. The Dining Room flows from the Kitchen to a huge table that has seating for eight next a big beautiful bay window. Another set of two unique wood doors leads you back to the entry that includes a Powder Bathroom, which has a toilet, sink, and storage for cleaning supplies. The Entry leads past the stairs to go upstairs or enter the spacious Living Room with plenty of comfortable pub style seating, a leather couch with a 65" Roku TV. Another smaller dining table seating for four is a perfect to spot to play games. it has a designated Office Area stocked with a plenty of office supplies and a It has a convenient wet bar is stocked with many bar glassware and essentials. The cupboards are stocked with games. There is a large slider that leads you out to a large 8 x 16 deck off the Living Room with a bbq. Upstairs you will find a landing with a large skylight letting in lots of natural light. The King Suite is located to your right with a beautiful wood California King sized bed, nightstands, and dresser with an electric fireplace and a 55" Samsung Smart TV. The King Suite Bathroom is the ultimate classic luxurious spa experience. A deep two person jacuzzi tub with jets and heater. A four foot by five foot shower with the additional rain shower head, custom cabinets and wood features. It has a separate toilet closet and a walk-in closet. The other two Queen Suite bedrooms are very spacious with queen size beds, nightstands, dresser, and closet. All uniquely furnished and decorated. There are beautiful views from the upstairs corner windows. A Queen Suite Bathroom has a full length bathtub and shower with marble tiling. A full size stackable washer, dryer and safe are located upstairs. The central air conditioning is located only upstairs in the bedrooms. The main floor in the living room there is portable AC unit, the property usually stays cool even during the 90 plus days. The property is located in a quiet neighborhood on a dead-end street. The house sits on 0.39 acres and is full of beautiful flowers, trees, and all sorts of vegetation. The front yard by the mailbox is a wonderful area to have a picnic. The backyard is currently under construction as we design a outdoor sanctuary for our guests. Please excuse our temporary mess. There is a shared outdoor fireplace with outdoor seating. When sitting outside it is common to hear and see a lot of the wildlife that the Willamette River brings. Bald eagles, blue heron, turkey vultures, geese, ducks, owls, beavers, skunks, deer, coyotes, raccoons, hummingbirds, finches, and blue birds to name a few frequent the area or property. There is neighborhood access to the Willamette River, its about a 150 yard walk to a steep but short path to the river. We also have ample parking for large RVs, trailers, moving trucks on the street parking in front of the house. Guest access You will have your own private entrance to the home. The front patio and back deck that is located off the living room are exclusively yours to enjoy. There is a separate back patio that is currently under remodel as we are putting a new cover over it with skylights. This space is shared with us since you might find us roasting marshmallows in the outdoor fireplace. The basement is our private space with a separate private entrance. The detached garage is also our private space. We are on the property often but we travel a lot, so there should be limited interaction. Other things to note Any guest stay that is over 28 days will be considered a week-to-week tenancy. All Airbnb accounts must upload a Government ID to your Airbnb account before check-in. If available, Early Check-in Fee is $50.00 If you checkout after 12pm, you will be charged an additional $75.00 if prior arrangements were not made.
