Description
Casa Merihaahka is located by the sea in a 70s apartment building in Merirauma. Decorated in our style as our own home, so we are not a hotel. Views of the sea, the harbor and the grain silos. The area is peaceful and has good opportunities for outdoor activities. Two bedrooms, a living room and a kitchen. Toilet/bathroom with bathtub and washing machine. There is a place for the car in the carport. No electric car charging. The apartment is located on the 6th floor of an apartment building, with an elevator. 4.5 km to Old Rauma and the city center. The space Coffee/tea, fresh juice and sandwich ingredients can be found in the cabinets. The contents of the cabinets are also available to you. The smaller bedroom has a double bed. Venetian blinds and blackout curtains. The larger bedroom has two separate beds (Tempur) that we usually place as a double bed. Blackout curtains and roller blind. In this room, we also put our old retro bed for the smaller family. Between the bedrooms is a dressing room where you will find more pillows and blankets. The living room has a sofa bed and a desk. Cable TV. Wireless Wifi in the apartment. We wanted to leave the bathtub in the toilet/bathroom. So it requires a little humble feet when taking a shower or a bath. Bathroom products are available to you. The bathroom has a heated towel rack. Washing machine. The hallway closet has shelves where you can place your luggage. 70s apartments usually have very little closet space. The balcony is glazed. View of the harbor and grain silos. We don't have any bulletproof sheets in store. But the sheets are lovingly ironed by Ari-pappa. There have been no pets in the premises, but we are not completely odorless and tasteless. Furniture can be in different places compared to the pictures, according to the interior designer's inspiration. No smoking in the apartment or on the balcony. Guest access You can get the key from the key locker. We'll put the instructions in good time. You return the key to the same locker when you leave. Car parking is free. Reserved carport space. The carport is from the 1970s, so it is narrow and low. Be careful when opening the trunk so that it does not hit the roof bar. Bus stop approx. 100 m. The apartment is on the sixth floor and is accessible by elevator. Outdoor camera surveillance. Other things to note Since the apartment is located on the seafront, the distance to the center and Old Rauma is about 4.5 km. The apartment is all yours for the duration of your trip! The neighborhood is peaceful. Of course, the sounds of life are heard because the house is the beloved home of many permanent residents. There is plenty to see in Rauma. There are two World Heritage Sites in the Rauma City area – Old Rauma and Sammallahdenmäki. Old Rauma was selected for the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1991 as a unique example of a living and well-maintained old Nordic wooden town. The Bronze Age burial mound area of Sammallahdenmäki, which was selected for the World Heritage List in 1999, is the largest and most diverse burial area of the Scandinavian Bronze Age culture in the coastal area of the Gulf of Bothnia. In the vicinity of this apartment (300m) is Karhulinna, which specializes in the scent graves. Swimming area on the nearby Meriristi beach. Water buses depart from the pier in Merijakamo to the Kylmäpihlaja lighthouse. Please let us know your arrival time. When you leave, we hope you'll let us know, so we know everything's okay. So you get the key from the key locker, where you take it when you leave, using the code you received. We live in the same apartment building, so we're close by if you need any help. You also have two "grandmother-style" bicycles. Let me know if you need a bike.
