The Farmhouse Annexe

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. You'll discover our traditional Cornish self-contained annexe surrounded by daffodil fields, close to the beautiful Lizard peninsula with full use of a delightful enclosed private garden. The quintessential fishing village of Porthleven is a 10 minute drive, the cobbled streets of St Ives are 30 minutes, while the famous Poldark mine is less than 5 minutes by car. Local beaches include Dollar Cove, Church Cove, Poldhu and Kynance Cove. The space Your idyllic Cornish retreat is a self-contained annexe with private entrance, parking and large enclosed garden. Inside you'll find a large lounge comprising a sofa bed, wood burning stove, kitchenette, 42 inch TV and free WIFI. A separate spacious double bedroom with dual aspect windows looking onto a private garden, ensuite walk in power shower and separate toilet. Edwina & Jamie have created a wonderful relaxed nautical themed accommodation, where your welcomed with locally sourced scones, jam and clotted cream. Guest access The Annexe is attached to one side of the owner's property; however, as guests you'll posses your own entrance, free parking, fully enclosed garden with seating, fire pit and BBQ. The property is situated down a private farm lane and is typically Cornish, advised to go slow and maybe leave the Ferrari at home. Other things to note Well behaved dogs are welcome, either 2 small dogs or 1 medium/large dog. A charge of £15 will be applied at the time of booking if you wish to bring your dog, respectfully we ask they’re not left unattended at anytime and not to be allowed on furniture. You're able to access walks across the countryside via the gardens. You’ll receive a full basket of logs for the wood burner, further logs are available on request at £5 per basket. Please note there is a kitchenette with Fridge freezer, Microwave, Toaster, Tassimo Coffee machine and Kettle, however no kitchen sink or oven. We have a Travel Cot available and also a camp bed, should you like to use either during your stay please let us know in advance. We can accommodate up to 5 guests upon request.
