Grassfield Hall-Dales retreat

With spectacular views across Nidderdale and on the edge of a traditional Dales town, the hall has been lovingly restored with a modern and stylish interior without forgetting the character of the building. a perfect country retreat. The space Grassfield Hall is a georgian house built for a local business man in the early 1800's, then later became a family home, but in 1975 was turned into a hotel. However in 2001 it closed its doors and then stood derelict for 10 years. After we bought the hall we spent seven years restoring it. You will be able to relax in the country retreat that is Grassfield Hall and enjoy the spectacular Dales landscape along with the high spec interior of the newly renovated house steeped in history. Guest access The house has a long driveway and a large open garden with fantastic views of Nidderdale. Inside the house there is a large hallway leading to a large dining room and kitchen which features an aga, this room also has a sofa with a large flat screen TV on the wall, leading off from this room is the well equipped second kitchen with a door to the outside. At the front of the house is a large lounge with incredible views. Also leading off from the hallway is a downstairs king bedroom with an en suite shower room. There are 6 bedrooms on the second floor and an attic bedroom. All bedrooms are en suite, most with marble bathrooms, some have jacuzzi baths with tv’s at the end of the bath and one room has a double jacuzzi. Other things to note We live next door so are usually on hand if you need anything. We leave a hamper of essentials for you on arrival but if there are any extras that you require then just let us know and we will try and meet your requests.
