Other things to note If you love the countryside, like cycling or hiking, you have come to the right place. The Moselle Valley and its vineyards are not far from the village. The Moselsteig can be started right outside the door. Popular destinations are the city of Cochem, Eltz Castle, the Geierlay, the Wild & Leisure Park in Klotten, the Moselbad Cochem and much more. The geyser in Andernach (approx. 45 minutes) is also worth a trip.
