Private Room #1, Casa Orenda, Nosara

Welcome to Casa Orenda, a peaceful home nestled in the lush nature of Nosara. I offer a private bedroom with its own bathroom, just 5 minutes by car from the main entrance of Playa Guiones. Playa Pelada and Playa Garza are also nearby, making it an ideal base to explore Nosara. You’ll have access to shared spaces with me: living room, kitchen, and terrace. All surrounded by trees, birdsong, and soft jungle breezes. I have a cat and a piano. Breakfast: fruits, toasts and coffee. The space The room features a queen bed, ceiling fan, a large screened window for fresh air, and a spacious wardrobe. Your private bathroom is located just outside the room, accessible through the living area, and includes a comfortable shower with hot water. You’re welcome to enjoy the living room, kitchen, terrace, wood fire pit, garden seating, and parking. There’s also a beautiful outdoor shower perfect for rinsing off after the beach. The property is surrounded by trees, so it stays fresh throughout the day. It’s common to see monkeys, iguanas, birds, and jungle insects — a natural part of life here in the forest. I also share the house with a Lotus, my cat. Guest access A car, ATV, or motorbike is highly recommended for getting around Nosara. The house is only 5 minutes by car from the main entrance of Playa Guiones. Walking to the beach is also possible — it takes about 20–25 minutes. You can use the Nosara Civic Association trails (look them up online) to connect from Bodhi Tree to Guiones Main and Guiones North. These trails are shaded, fresher, and much nicer for walking. A tuk-tuk ride costs around $8 each way, which is a convenient option, especially for the way back home. I can share a reliable tuk-tuk contact if needed. During your stay I’m happy to support you during your stay and help you explore our beach town. I can recommend activities and services, and assist with booking transportation, surf lessons, tours, and restaurant reservations. If you’d like to have a chat or share a dinner, I’m always open to that too. I will be available on my phone for you during your stay. Other things to note This house is very cozy and truly local. It’s a very special place to me, and everything you see here has been chosen with a lot of love and effort. Many of the furniture pieces are family heirlooms from my grandmothers and parents. Please take care of the house as if it were your own. ♥
