The house was designed and built by the then Head of Art and Archaeology at Princeton University, George Rowley. Each room is beautifully created with an eye to economy of space, grace, and captures the unique ambiance of a home from this time period in an historic, Ivy League town. This is an old home with all the quirks and charm of old houses of its time. Please be loving and careful, and understand the quirks and idiosyncratic nature of the house. The home is set back from the road creating a ambiance and sense of intrigue. From the street it appears to be a lovely quiet cottage, and it does not disappoint once inside. The house is like a jewel box and continues to unfold in design, size and uniqueness, each room contains something else, something more to surprise.
