Private en-suite king in large country house down a very quiet country lane, but set back off the main road. Very comfortable king-size bed with balcony, overlooking the Somerset countryside; En-suite has walk-in double shower. Ideal stop over location for a quiet couple of nights to use as a base in the West’s countryside or a night before/after a flight from Bristol International airport. On direct bus route for Bristol, Bath, Wells, Glastonbury & Street. 3 rental rooms - 2 kings & a twin The space I have 3 rental rooms in the property and I live here. This listing is for the KING EN-SUITE room. It has a very comfortable king-size bed with dressing table & mirror; 2 bedside tables each with bedside table lights and 3 drawers. Private Juliette balcony with far reaching views overlooking the countryside. Towels and extra fleece blankets are provided, as are tea/coffee making facilities and there is a lock on the door for your privacy. The en-suite bathroom has a walk-in double shower with modern bubble glass tiles wall, heated towel rail/radiator, 2 mirrors, toilet and sink. It is very much a countryside village setting here, where it is rural and quiet, but very easy access to many local towns and cities... Bristol Airport 10.2 miles Bath 11.4 miles, Bristol 9.4 miles, Wells 11.5 miles, Glastonbury 17.5 miles, Chew Valley Lake 10 mins The Royal Bath & West Showground 35 mins, Cheddar Weston-Super-Mare and the rest of the West country all within easy access. 2 mins walk down the quiet lane gives you gorgeous views over the Chew Valley Lake and countryside. There is a local regular bus service (bus stop 100 yards away), run by First Bus, with the 376 service offering direct public transport to Bristol in the north, and Wells & Glastonbury in the south. Another bus service offers transport to Bristol in the north and Bath to the east, (although it does take a while to get to Bath as it goes through all the villages!) In each of the three rental rooms I have put together a folder of information on local eating establishments During your stay This is a family home and I will greet you with a very warm and friendly welcome. I will be happy to help with any queries you may have. If I ask roughly what your schedule is, it's so that I know when I will have to be at home during your stay, and when I am free to leave the premises. I work from home so check-in and check out times can be reasonably flexible and mutual timings arranged prior to booking / arrival. I will be on hand for as much or as little time as required, but happy to leave you to your own devices as you wish. My children are both in their twenties and have moved out, but may be around from time to time, depending on their ever hectic schedules and social lives! :-). My son sometimes brings his gorgeous labradors who are exceptionally friendly.
