The Sanders Yard family warmly invite you to visit and experience Whitby whilst enjoying our cosy, clean and welcoming accommodation options. Our rooms and cottages are located off the cobbled stones of Church Street, Whitby and are only a short walk from Whitby Abbey, beaches, shops and restaurants. We offer four guest rooms, all with en-suite or private bathroom and three holiday cottages. We look forward to welcoming you to Sanders Yard soon. The space Footsteps away from the cobbled stones of Church Street, The Old Chocolate Shop offers space and character with abundance. Located in the heart of the old town, this three-bedroom cottage is extremely spacious, situated over three levels, comprising one double room with en-suite shower, one twin bedroom and a large attic room with queen ( 5 foot) bed positioned on the third floor. Both double rooms offer views over the Old Market Place and West Cliff beyond. There is a large opulent family bathroom on the second floor, inclusive of roll top bath, perfect for soaking in after a day of walking the many trails Whitby has to offer. The large lounge comprises three leather sofas and is perfect for movie nights and after dinner games. The kitchen is well equipped and there’s even a dishwasher to avoid those after dinner washing up quarrels (although, why eat in when you can sample one of Church Street's award winning restaurants). The Old Chocolate Shop resides in an alley adjacent to Sanders Yards Bistro. After rolling out of bed it’s only a few footsteps and you can be ordering from an extensive boutique menu. The Old Chocolate Shop includes: Four TV’s all with freeview Bath and hand towels Complimentary toiletries Free wifi Dishwasher Fridge Oven Well equipped kitchen Please note we do not allow dogs in the Old Chocolate Shop. A baby sitting service is available with fully qualified DPS accredited nannies, please discuss with a member of staff during the booking process. With Whitby Abbey, the 199 steps, sandy beaches, quirky shops, sumptuous cafes and a multitude of restaurants right on your door step, The Old Chocolate Shop is all about location, location, location. Please note: parking is available in one of the many car parks close to Church Street and vehicles are allowed outside the property for drop off and pick up purposes.
