Private home on 5 timbered acres high above the Pacific Ocean. Both bedrooms enjoy ensuite bathrooms. Open living space. Quiet place to relax in whispering forest. One mile up gravel road off Hwy 101 to location. Elevation 700’ above sea level. Enchanting forest Airbnb is in the heart of world famous ocean front golf courses, surfing, wind sailing, Kite boarding, kayaking in the ocean or local fresh water Floras Lake. Biking trails, hiking, agate beaches with endless miles of beach combing. The space Home has easy access with steps or ramp. Pick Huckleberries, Blue berries on property (seasonal). Local u-picks of blueberries & strawberries ripe around end of June thru September, within a couple of miles. Enchanting Forest home is a NO pets allowed property without exception. Being a rural property, we have a septic system that must be protected from everything that nature doesn't provide. We ask guest to not put cooking grease down the drain, provided is a grease receptacle or let it cool and put in garbage can. We offer a 50-inch smart TV, ROKU and Wi/Fi for you to plug in your own devices to view or listen to. Rural life is wonderful, come visit, unplug and enjoy the Beautiful Southern Oregon coast. Lots of recreational fun to be had here on the Oregon coast, Fishing & swimming in our 2 world famous Elk River and Sixes River a real treasure here. Floras Lake is a freshwater Lake (4miles west) great trout fishing. Water sports abound at Floras Lake, rentals available. Just over the sandy sea wall of Floras Lake is the big blue Pacific Ocean with beautiful beach access for miles of enjoyment. while there on the beach look for agates, they are the jewels of the beach. Guest access Guest enjoy venturing out into the forest at their own risk for short hikes on property. Around the wild native Huckleberries over the ferns and back again. Take your beverage and a book with you, it is beautiful, private & quiet, with wildlife & birds everywhere. Sunsets !!! only the best every night will make you smile. PLEASE NO SMOKING IN THE FOREST. There is a smoking area outside under cover with a sand filled ashtray for the cigarette butt's, please use this and not flick ashes towards the forest. We appreciate your efforts to keep the forest safe. Guest can walk all over the gravel mountain roads up here. Very safe with friendly residents if you see them. PARKING is right outside the door Paths outside around the front of house are solar lit. Other things to note Here is what our guest need to know, Enchanting forest sits 700 foot elevation facing West, high above the ocean floor with views clear to Face Rock in Bandon. One-mile up hill on gravel road. At times our gravel road gets rough, always drivable. Winter the road gets graded to smooth out. We are a private subdivision of 5 + acre parcels. So, there is lots of room to enjoy your privacy in nature. Look Ma, No curtains! Nature is the curtain here in the open living space. Awesome views out all windows. Both bedrooms have blinds to close if you desire, the rest of the home is curtain free. Nothing out there except wide open star gazing, ocean view, birds, squirrels, owls, bats, butterflies, Eagles, Deer, local red fox and occasional swarm of honeybees pass through, you get the picture, pure nature for your pleasure. Front door has lock box containing the key. Door code to lock box will be text to you prior to your stay. Our little town has a market stuffed to the rafters (look up in the rafters of the Langlois market, OH My!) with groceries, liquor store & full-service deli. Langlois only has one restaurant "The Spoon 2.0" right on Hwy 101, it's small & cozy. Food is good, open Sunday thru Wednesday 7am till 3:00pm. Spoon makes their own from scratch bread, hamburger buns, French fries and corned beef. Lots of good healthy choices that are so delicious. Seasonal outdoor covered seating. Live music outdoors at times. If you are hankering for an espresso, next door to the spoon 2.0 is Floras Creek Coffee Roaster, great coffee and so much more. Sit and enjoy your coffee, it's the local hub with free Wi-Fi.
