Farm stay in Forest

An exclusive, architecturally designed, industrial style contemporary farmstay, in the heart of Wiltshire. Eclipse is one of three new Farmstays. They are located on an established working alpaca farm, offering a unique experience. Visit the alpacas and learn about life on the farm. Enjoy the surrounding countryside, visit the nearby National Trust village of Lacock, explore the Georgian city of Bath. There are many interesting and exciting places to visit within a short drive. The space While guests will usually have a view of Amaru and Ernesto, two of our alpacas, from the farmstay window, sometimes they like a change of scenery and some fresh grass, and have to be moved to rest the pasture. The accommodation comprises 2 adouble bedrooms. One on the ground floor( 2 adult sized single beds). King size double on the mezzanine. Toilet and shower/wet room. Open plan living/dining/kitchen area. There is a private patio and garden for outdoor relaxation and dining. There is a second double bedroom with a king size bed on the upper mezzanine . Living space includes a fully fitted kitchen, with induction hob, combi fan oven with steamer and microwave, Refrigerator, dishwasher and washing machine. Open plan living and dining area to seat four. All furnishings are modern in keeping with the contemporary design of the building. The farmstay has been designed to a very high ecological standard. All consideration has been give to maintaining an Eco friendly living environment. Guest access Easy private parking close to the Farmstay. The Farmstay is adjacent to our home, Oakley Farm House, home also to LACOCKALPACA. A medium-sized herd of pedigree huancaya alpacas. During your stay you will be welcome to tour the farm with us and meet the herd. You can learn more about how we care for these gentle, inquisitive creatures. Other things to note We encourage an eco-friendly ethos. You will be provided with environmentally friendly products and waste recycling facilities. The farmstay has been designed with a sustainable energy source, eco conscious building materials and is served with a bio-digester. Our own home uses ground sourced heating and a bio-digester. Disability parking is available. Easy wheelchair access into the Farmstay and also wheelchair access into the wetroom where there is a shower seat provided. Easy wheelchair access to all rooms down stairs.
