A Clean and Quiet retreat for people and doggies. A country setting on an inlet of the York River, with great access to outlet shopping, hiking, beaches, and Portsmouth, NH. Surfaces cleaned and rooms disinfected with UV room sanitizer between all visits. The space Located on a private road situated on a York River tributary, the Eliot Hideaway offers a genuine quiet, country feel but has the benefit of outstanding proximity to Seacoast beaches, dining, and outlet shopping. Also, a short drive to one of the coolest small cities in the Northeast: Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Our 2-acre fenced-in back yard is a dog-paradise for your people and dog-friendly pup. Bring a canoe (or rent one from Kittery Trading Post) and launch right onto the York River! Guest access Guests have full access to the 2-acre mostly fenced-in yard by the river and have sole access to their fully equipped private and lockable apartment. Other things to note We have dogs too. Jackson and Mosely will occasionally be sharing the backyard (don't worry - plenty of space!) but like our dogs, we do require that your dog/s be friendly and safe with humans and other dogs. We also ask that you be present and supervise your dog while spending time with him in the yard as no fenced in area is 100% foolproof. Also, please pick up after your dog. Thank you!
