Blue Mule Farm - Cozy Cottage

Our place is 2 miles to Warrenton, 6 miles to Round Top, and 8 miles to Fayetteville. We are close to the Antique Fair, the Independence Wine Trail, and the Bluebonnet Wine Trail. The cottage is built like a duplex, and there is a permanent resident on one side. The cottage is located on a working farm and winery. It is a private unit. It is great for couples, solo adventurers, friends and business travelers. It is not ideal for children because of the traffic generated by the winery. The space The cottage has hardwood floors, ship lap walls, vaulted ceiling with reclaimed barn beams. Vintage breadboard and tin ceiling tiles adorn the bathroom ceiling. There is a king size bed, 2 comfortable chairs, TV, Wi-Fi, private bath with claw foot tub (there is no shower) and a kitchenette. The room is quiet and spacious and comfortable. Guest access Guest are welcome to wander around the farm, except inside the alpaca pen. There is a livestock guardian dog that lives with these animals and does not like strangers entering the pen. Other things to note There is NO shower. The Cottage is a Duplex with 2 private units. Mom (Mimi) lives in one unit and the other private unit is our Airbnb rental. This is a working farm. There are working dogs, along with other livestock...animal noises are common...even at night sometimes.
