Because it is a penthouse, there is a water pump so that the pressure is satisfactory and it is connected to the heater (take care not to turn it off at the switch next to the washing machine). Therefore, the water temperature adjustment must be made directly on the heater. We usually keep it at 39º in winter and 35º in summer. Beware of the external shower and hose on very sunny days, as the first jet of water can come out very hot. There's a bar next to the building, with live music until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. It can be a bit uncomfortable for anyone in the living room or outer bedroom. Air conditioning and/or the fan soften the noise. At Carnival, you'll be in the middle of the festivities! On New Year's Eve, you don't have to leave the house to see the fireworks, but if you want to see them more closely, just walk less than 10 minutes to the Copacabana Waterfront (you can take your champagne!).
