Brookfield Retreat is a large 60's inspired sanctuary available for groups or couples wanting to relax & chill, whilst surrounded by nature in a tranquil, private location, 15 km from the Brisbane CBD. A huge unique house with lots of space & break out areas, equipped with pool table, bar, 6 person indoor spa, cinema room, pool, modern kitchen, pergola & outside entertainment area, ping pong. STRICT NO PARTY & NOISE RESTRICTIONS IN PLACE. The space A very large resort-style home surrounded by nature, designed for entertaining and having fun on 2.5 acres, down a quite lane. The home compromises of 6 full sized bedrooms and 1 small room with a single bed and split system air-con. Also included is a large modern 2 bedroom demountable for those needing extra sleeping space. The standard layout consists of 13 individual beds plus 3 more in the demountable. Maximum occupancy of 16 guests permitted. 1. Bedroom 1 - master bedroom - king sized bed, TV, en-suite and adjourning parents retreat with sofa day bed. Additional fold up bed can be added to the Parents Retreat. 2. Bedroom 2 - king sized bed. One fold up bed available upon request. 3. Bedroom 3 - king sized bed and day bed. 4. Bedroom 4 - king bed. Additional fold up bed available upon request. 5. Bedroom 5 - queen bed and day bed. 6. Bedroom 6 - double bed. 7. Bedroom 7 - small room with single bed. 8. Bedroom 8 - demountable - king bed 9. Bedroom 9 - demountable - single bed and single fold up bed. The main bathroom is a large 60's marble bathroom with a large shower, small children's bath with overhead shower, enclosed toilet & bidet, basin, Hollywood lights and 6 person heated sunken spa As well as the main bathroom, we have a separate shower and separate toilet down the hall and off the main bathroom. The master bedroom has an en-suite with shower and toilet. There is a toilet off the kitchen and also and additional toilet in the games room, which makes 5 toilets in the house. The large living / lounge area has a log burning fireplace, triple and double sofa in front of the 50 inch TV, with Netflix, as well as an 8 person dining table in once corner and a piano in the other. This very large living space is parallel to the veranda with double glass sliding doors opening onto the patio with 14 person dining table and chairs. The luxury modern kitchen is fully equipped with double oven, induction hob, microwave, double American style fridge with ice dispenser, kettle, toaster any everything required to enjoy your stay as if it were your own home. Off the kitchen there is access to the Laundry with a washing machine and dryer and the Powder room (toilet). The kitchen also leads to the formal dining area with 6 person wooden table and the Family Room connected to dining room with TV and sofas. The wonderfully large retro Games Room is a separate part of the house connected by an undercover walkway. It is equipped with tournament sized billiard table, un-stocked bar, fridge/freezer, connecting cinema room and toilet. Outside, past the Family Room is the pool area with outside undercover table and sofa. The pool is 3 metres deep up the deep end and offers guests hours of entertainment. There Pergola with lights, electricity and water offers yet another facet to our big old house and we have been privileged to have a few guests host an intimate wedding on the property. Additionally the 2 bedroom demountable out the back of the block is available. Finally we have the lovely gardens and outside carport for guests to park in. We ask that all guests look after our beautiful home and keep the noise levels reasonable so as not to bother any of our wonderful neighbours. We also ask guest to car pool where possible to reduce road traffic. Security camera's in operation at exit and entrance points for host and guest security. Host lives on site though will not bother guests unless assistance is required, or noise levels are too loud. STRICTLY NO PARTYS OR NOISY GATHERINGS of any kind! Guests that disrespect this rule will be evicted with loss of deposit and all booking fees! Guest access Access to all rooms except garage and most cupboards. Other things to note Our home was built in the 60's and is full of character and charm with some modern areas and some original features. We have strict noise restrictions in place so as not to bother the neighbours. Surveillance in place at entrance and exit points for guest and host security. NO PARTIES
