The property sits about 100 meters from the beach and you can listen to the sounds of the waves and the jungle from the cottages. We have two identical, two level cottages on a private jungle property. The cottages can be rented separately or together. The cottages are set up to provide simple, peaceful and secluded living. Therefore they come with a kitchenette equipped with a full sized fridge, sink, all cooking utensils, dishes and two burner propane stove. We do not provide any food items. About the cottages: The designs were chosen to fit in with the natural surroundings and utilize the natural features of the area. The two level layout with screened windows takes advantage of the almost daily offshore winds that make the surfing so famous and helps to keep the rooms cool. The indoor/ outdoor shower allows you to store your surfboard of any length inside and shower off after swimming/ surfing before entering the cottage. The kitchen area has an opening window to create an indoor/ outdoor bar hangout space. Each cabin also has their own separate, private, outdoor patio with concrete furniture to be enjoyed. The second story patio puts you up into the jungle canopy to get close and personal with the resident Howler Monkeys that call the trees here home. There is a full time caretaker who speaks both English and Spanish who will be able to give you keys and answer any questions about the area. Location: A couple minute walk to the surf break and perhaps one of the most beautiful beaches in Nicaragua, Playa Amarillo. Also located within the community of Playa Gigante, with groceries stores, bars, restaurants and the beach less than a minute walk away. You can hear the waves of Playa Gigante you are so close. *We have wifi available in both cabins. SIM cards with data are also sold across the street at the super market* *This property runs off a well, therefore the water is room/air temperature in the shower. The cottages come with one large (18L) bottle of drinking water that you can refill across the street. We provide the first bottle of water only* Calle principal a gigante 78mts. Al N.E *We offer laundry services. Please speak to our caretaker to arrange if you would like your personal laundry done for a small fee.
