Old Stage Ranch Cabin

Situated minutes from the city and attractions of Colorado Springs! Located on a historic mountain road (the road is best for at least semi-adventurous people.) The road can be seen on YouTube and search "Old Stage Road Colorado Springs" Completely surrounded by forest, gives the feeling of total isolation and true wilderness. Truly one of the most rustic and unique vacation spots in the country! The space Outdoor activities right from the cabin, from horseback riding to fishing. Cabin sits on private property, including a small, private, fishing pond with Cutthroat and Rainbow trout. The Old Stage Riding Stables sits on the property offering a variety of rides for lengths and skill levels. The Stage Stop Cafe is also located on the property open 10:00 AM.-6:00 PM daily offering coffee drinks, bar drinks, sandwiches, and baked goods. Guest access Guests are able to use the entire cabin, as well as the property surrounding the cabin. Nation Forest use is almost endless and encouraged! Other things to note The cabin is located 6 miles up a historic dirt road that is winding, bumpy, steep, slow and well traveled. GPS will NOT take you to the cabin so you will need to take a screen shot of the directions before you arrive. Cell phones also do not work once you reach the dirt road so you will not be able to call for directions once you start on the dirt road. Families live on the road and it is traveled daily by LOTS of people. Take your time and go as slow as you would like, stop and take pictures along the way, just be SURE to let faster traffic pass.
