1910's Era Flat in Historic Downtown

A peaceful place in historic downtown Lafayette. The spacious, second floor private flat in the Pedal Inn is ideal for semester visitors to Purdue. Living room, dining room, kitchenette, bedroom and bathroom. Located in Lafayette’s old city with fine dining, entertainment and arts in the surrounding blocks. Two miles to Purdue with free bus service to campus. The space My husband, Uke (Australian Shepard) and I live at Pedal Inn. We at Pedal Inn walk lightly on the earth. A photovoltaic array provides electricity and we try to balance our use with production. Pedal Inn was built in the 1880's as a residence for the sisters teaching at the German Catholic School across the courtyard which is now Virtuous Cycles, a sweet bike shop run by my son. My husband and I live at Pedal Inn. The entrance door locks automatically, but past that there are no locks. I made that decision intentionally as I don't want to lock my space and feel that my guests and I should enjoy the same trust. Guest access Your flat is all yours. There is a large balcony that is shared and guests are welcome to use the shared laundry. Other things to note Guests may be accompanied by one well behaved pet (does not disturb others, scratch doors, windows, furniture; urinate or defecate outside of accepted locations. You must ensure that rugs and upholstery is left without signs of your pet's stay. Pets must not be left alone for more than four hours and puppies (younger than 18 mos) must be crated if left alone. An Australian shepard lives with us. He has been friendly with previous visiting pets.
