Welcome to our holiday apartment, the perfect "BaseCamp" for all your adventures in the valley and the mountains :) Ideally located in the "Pedestrian Village", it is close to everything yet benefits from quiet surroundings, facing a small park. 3mns - bus (transfers, ski lifts); Aiguille du Midi; restaurants, supermarket, shops, ski/climbing/bikes rentals and more. 7mns - train station "Aiguille du Midi". ** Larger groups: our 2nd apartment BaseCamp1 is only a few meters away... The space Ground-floor apartment with private terrace and view to the park, ideal for 2 people, but can accommodate up to 2 adults and 1 child. (The third sleeping space is a sofa bed in the living room and is best suited for a child). From our experience the apartment is simple, clean, comfortable, practical, and offers happy vibes. - 1 bedroom with double bed - 1 living room with sofa bed (2 single beds) - Dining table with 4 chairs - Half-open kitchen with induction plates, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster... - cable TV and WIFI - Bathroom with bath - Separated toilet - Private ski locker near the apartment - Underground parking The bedroom and living room can be fully separated by a foldable door. Guest access Getting there: By Car If you come with your own car, you can use the private underground parking (non-reserved parking spaces) but please let us know in advance so we will prepare the parking fob for you. By Bus Getting to the apartment by public transfer from Geneva/Geneva Airport is very easy (around 17 Euros ow/pp for public coach, 1h15). All coach transfers stop at Chamonix Sud bus stop - literally 3mns walk from the apartment. Alternatively, you can take private transfers from the airport. Let us know if you need more information about transfers, we will be happy to help! Getting around: In the direct vicinity of the apartment, you can reach by foot within minutes all that you will need: supermarket, restaurants, cafe's, bakery, pub, launderette, Aiguille du Midi cable car, rental shops. Slightly further away (7mns or so) you will reach the SNCF train station “Aiguille du Midi”, and just a few minutes more will take you the main pedestrian shopping and busy streets of Chamonix. You also have the option to use the excellent public transportation to move around town, reach the ski lifts or explore the valley. The apartment is literally 3mns walk from Chamonix Sud bus stops (all local buses lines to Brevent, Flegere, les Bossons, les Houches, Grands Montets). Other things to note We love climbing! So yes, it is a fingerboard above the living room door, and the terrace (when not covered in snow) is great not just for aperitifs but also to spread and prepare the gear.
