Mi Palafito Gamboa Castro, Isla de Chiloé.
Mi Palafito is a wooden stilt house located on the banks of the Gamboa River in Castro, Chiloé. It was built in 1952 by my grandfather, since then we have always lived there. As my grandfather teaches my father the maintenance of this typical construction of the island, which we have maintained over time. It's a Palafito with history, so you have to live the experience. The space It's a cozy space, like this one at the riverfront you can see how the tide goes up and down, birds like seagulls and swans. In front is a Shipyard where they build wooden boats. We have also left a space for Teleworking, desk, chair and Fiber Optic connection. A place for long stays, it has a washing machine and all the implements in Kitchen.
