My Palafito Gamboa Castro, Chiloé Island.

Mi Palafito is a house on wooden stilts located on the banks of the Gamboa River in Castro, Chiloé. It was built in 1952 by my grandfather, and we've lived there ever since. As the years went by, my grandfather taught my father how to maintain this typical island construction, which we have maintained over time. It's a Palafito with history, so you have to live the experience. The space It is a cozy space, as it is on the riverbank you can see how the tide rises and falls, birds such as seagulls and swans. Opposite there is a shipyard where they build wooden boats. We have also left a space for Teleworking, a desk, a chair and a Fiber Optic connection. A place for long stays, it has a washing machine and all the kitchen implements.
