We love people, art, music and nature! Our home is designed for entertainment, comfort and enjoyment. The large back deck spreads out under clematis flowers, leading to a lower hot tub deck and the funky garden. We are 3 blocks from the McNeil Bay beach, stunning vistas and a short walk up to "Oak Bay Avenue"...lots of shops, and galleries. Abkhazii Gardens is 3 blocks away and Butchart's Gardens, a half hour away. We have wonderful bakery/cafes just around the corner (Demi Tasse and Del'ish), walks/hikes, parks, shops and much water enjoyment from whale watching excursions, to kayaking and seal watching 10 minute walk from our home. If we are in town, we love connecting with the guest to give an orientation, share a glass of wine and make you feel comfy in our neighbourhood. We are walking distance from Abkhazi Gardens with tea room and gorgeous walkable gardens….a smaller, more local 'Butcharts' :) Everything is about 10 minutes away - town, theatres, music, beaches are closer and walking is the way to go in Oak Bay. Very user friendly. Good public transit and 40 min shuttle to airport. We are musical, so have a piano, guitar, uke and many shakable things!! If we are not in the city, we take pride in having one of Victoria's best kept secrets...Angela of Amala Cleaners. She will greet you at our home at the usual check in time (3pm), unless you let me know otherwise. She will help you and make sure everything is exactly as you want it.
