Only 1/2-mile to the Ice Castles, and one mile to North Woodstock village center. Skiing/Riding: Loon Mountain 4.5 miles; Cannon 13 miles, and about 1/2-hour drive to Waterville Valley and Bretton Woods resorts. The space Over 25 eating establishments are within three miles of our location, so there is something available for every taste and every meal. We have our favorites and will share those recommendations with you when you arrive. The room doesn't have cooking facilities and there is no access to a kitchen, but does have a refrigerator, microwave, and coffeemaker for your use. Guest access Guests have access to the entry foyer, guest bedroom, and guest bathroom (private, not shared, but not en-suite)...other rooms in the house and rear deck are private. Backyard access to the river during summer & fall is via outside landscape stairways and natural pathway. Access to the river is closed during winter. During your stay We'll generally be here to greet you when you arrive. If not, check-in is very easy with a welcome/info sheet that answers most questions. We're looking forward to making your stay fun and relaxing and will generally be available to answer questions and provide information about local attractions, businesses, and restaurants. Other things to note Our place is an excellent base to explore all that northern New England offers. We’re kind of in the middle of everything: a little over 2-hours from Boston, MA, Portland, ME, and Burlington, VT; and about 3-hours to Montreal, QC, Canada. Our room is comfortable, but you should plan on spending most of your visit here outdoors enjoying our area's natural beauty. We've always prided ourselves on the cleanliness of our space, but since 2020 we’ve taken extra steps to clean and sanitize frequently touched surfaces between reservations. We've also committed to Airbnb's enhanced cleaning protocol developed with health experts and informed by recommendations from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
