Relax at the Barefoot & Beachy Cottage across from Carrabelle Beach with room for 4; a sanctuary with beachy and comfortable furnishings, memory foam mattresses, a full- size kitchen with all your meal prep needs and a screened-in porch to dine or relax. The beach is a 2 min walk to enjoy the white sand & sea. Downtown Carrabelle with shops & restaurants is 5 min away; Apalachicola & St George Island are only 30 min. The space The Cottage has one bedroom with a comfortable , queen-size bed and closet with room for your clothing. There is a loft with two twins that can be pushed together to make a king. (Please note, this is a sleeping loft only and ceiling is too short for adults to stand up.) Enter the cottage through the screened-in porch and outdoor dining. The Living room has a comfy pull out sofa and occasional chair with a TV. A full size kitchen sits in the center of the cottage and has everything you need to make that perfect meal after a day at the beach. There is even a full-size washer and dryer, so you can pack lighter for your stay. Guest access There is room for two cars to park at the cottage. You can also park your boat at the cottage and park your car on Beacon St or next to the cottage (depending on car size) as long as it is off the street. Carrabelle Beach is right across HWY 98 about a 2 minute walk, very easy! Drive west on HWY 98 and St George Island with white sand beaches and turquoise water is less than 30 minutes away. Apalachicola, about a 20 minute drive, is a must see as well with some very good restaurants and fun shops to explore. For a shorter trip, visit downtown Carrabelle with it's own restaurants and shops. Our favorite is Fathoms Steam Room and Raw Bar. There are several museums to visit in Carrabelle as well. Other things to note The Cottage is part of a quiet, upscale RV park, which includes 4 small cottages and 6 larger bungalows along with RV sites. The cottage sits at the back of the park with only woods behind it so it is very quiet and peaceful without any road noise. Long term rental is available at a discounted monthly rate.
