Alba Cottage is a lovely home away from home, set in the West of Scotland by the famous and picturesque Crinan Canal at Cairnbaan. With breathtaking scenery all around and steeped in history, the area is perfect for a much-needed break. The cottage has two double bedrooms, a spacious living and dining room, 2 dedicated work from home areas and ample outside areas to enjoy an alfresco meal or just watch the boats go by on the canal. Alba Cottage is dog friendly. The space Guests will feel right at home in the cottage’s comfortable, stylish rooms, with several cozy nooks to curl up with a book and a hot drink. The living room is equipped with a leather sofa, armchair, and comfy pouffes to put your feet up after a day of hiking through the gorgeous, local scenery. It has a 44inch TV with Sky TV, so you’ll never be short of a box set to watch for a relaxing evening. In winter the electric fire tops up the central heating to keep the place extra toasty. The patio doors open out onto a decking where you can lounge on an L-shaped outdoor seating area. The kitchen is well equipped, with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, blender, and a good-sized fridge/freezer. To the left of the kitchen, Alba Cottage has a unique, sunny study, equipped with a good-sized desk and comfortable chairs. It also has an added bonus of a bar table and stools to sit and have your morning coffee, whilst watching the boats go by. You’ll also find a handy WC, washing machine, and clothes pulley. Downstairs there is also a modern shower room, featuring a large shower, toilet, and hand basin. The first floor features two double bedrooms, with the master sporting a delightful window seat where you can read a book or watch the boats go by. The second bedroom hosts another excellent workspace with fantastic views of the canal.
