Private home on quiet cul de sac. French Country Cottage and gardens. Continental breakfast & French press or Pour-Over coffee laid-out daily. Our home is very spa-like and tranquil. We have 3 friendly rescue dogs who come in at night & 3 rescue cats (outside). This is a quiet area, almost at the end of a cul de sac, backing up to 30 acres of field and woods. Come join us for a true B&B experience. We offer gourmet and/or romantic meals for an extra, nominal charge, with dietary restrictions considered. Cost for this amenity is negotiable and depends mainly on what type of foods you prefer. An infra-red, one-person cedarwood sauna is available in the workout room, as well. The guest bathroom has a great soaker tub with handheld shower head, and Epsom salts are always available! A fire pit is set-up in in the cooler months with comfortable, casual seating. The gardens are inviting, natural and relaxing. As mentioned above, we've already prepared a gourmet romantic dinner for a few guests, plus a pretty awesome breakfast on weekends, but a Continental breakfast is more the norm on weekdays. Guests are always welcomed to cook their own, of course! Please ask for details! We live here so you do share the common areas with us. We offer more of a B&B experience, giving access to the house and gardens, restricting only our private rooms. The kitchen includes many excellent features, such as Wolf gas range, full copper sink, dishwasher, and use of the main refrigerator. The downstairs guestroom boasts a smaller fridge for your convenience. The downstairs bedroom is off the main living area and the hallway to the guest bath, which it shares with any guests IN YOUR PARTY who may be staying in the bonus room, upstairs. The downstairs guest room has access directly to the workout room. There is a sliding barndoor to close off the guest area from the main area for your privacy. The downstairs bedroom has two, very comfortable single beds, one upper bed at normal level, and one trundle that pulls out from under and pops up to full height. The bonus room over the garage has hardwood floors, a very comfortable double bed, and plenty of space. If you're over 5'9" you may have an issue with the ceiling fan! Guests who stay in this room will use the downstairs guest bathroom. A true Bed & Breakfast experience awaits, with your hosts on site at all times. We socialize frequently with guests and love to entertain. Cheese and wine, chats around the fire pit, hot cocoa at night with marshmallows, etc., and plenty of happy people visiting are all common here. The freshly ground coffee in the morning is the talk of anyone who visits. If you hit it on the right day, it might include bagels and lox, or beignets! It's a family friendly, safe neighborhood. You'll need to drive to get to shops, restaurants, etc. We are about 10 minutes from many restaurants and shopping of all sorts. The neighborhood is safe for taking walks, as well. We have placed notebooks in both rooms with menus to local places. Our Guidebook on our AirBnB listing site offers a few ideas, too! We live in a neighborhood, on a cul-de-sac. We have been here for 30 years, and it has remained a relatively quiet area. We have some wonderful friends who own businesses that our guests frequent, and those same friends visit here regularly, as well! Of course, we respect our guests' needs, and there are plenty of areas where a guest can claim a piece of the quietude that our gardens are well known for.
