Lovely old farm

Small farms from the 18th century in scenic experiences with a view over Trollheimen. The forest is just behind the farm with lovely mountain lakes and wildlife. There is plenty to enjoy at this historic place in beautiful surroundings both winter and summer. Great skiing tracks in the area and only 30 minutes to the nearest alpine ski resort or an hour to Oppdal. The Orkla Fish River is a stone's throw away. In summertime, cows go around the farm. Fine possibilities to pick berries or mushrooms. Barbecue and fire pit are on the way. The space Main house Hallway, a small bathroom, living room and kitchen on ground floor. An old steep staircase up to the second floor with two bedrooms and a combined office/bedroom. When booking with more than 6 guests, we open the annex/outhouse with 2 beds. There is a new barn building but without inlaid electricity and water. Other things to note Good hunting and fishing conditions in the nearby. Fishing: 10 minutes walk down to Orkla, where the largest catch is salmon at 25kg. A total of 40 selected along the river, the nearest selected is "Vella Snoen" of 1km with or without boat, and "Ramloan" at 900m with 24-hour card from NOK 300 (see the full list on riverguiden.no under "Orkla") 45mins to Sea fishing at Orkanger (does not require a fishing license). Mountain fishing in over 100 waters short distance from the house. Fishing licenses for all water are purchased from Meldal Grunneierlag on iNatur for NOK 300 for seasonal cards. Hunting: Lots of hunting areas in 10-15 minutes driving time from the house. Both day and season passes are sold. Here are some examples.
