Description

A spacious, bright and cozy house, recently renovated in the historic center of Burgos, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms distributed over 135 m². Located in the pedestrian area, a short walk from the Cathedral, the Camino de Santiago (Way of St. James) and the vibrant leisure area, but quiet and very peaceful. Modern design in a 19th century building with all the amenities at your disposal to enjoy a unique experience in a city that will surprise you. Flexible and autonomous arrival at the accommodation. The space The house, renovated by one of the city's most prestigious teams of architects, maintains the essence of a historic building, but incorporates a modern, clean and functional design. The integral insulation and double-glazed windows provide us with an unbeatable thermal and acoustic sensation. The floor is solid wood, reproducing the original, and the radiators and cast iron stove have been preserved. The house faces two quiet pedestrian streets. Upon entering, we find a spectacular 40 m² living room, with a semi-integrated kitchen, high ceilings, wooden beams, large windows with a gallery and views of the church of San Lorenzo, the castle and the cathedral. The long hallway, illuminated by a huge window, connects us with three bedrooms, one of them 25 m², with a 160 cm bed; another with a 140 cm double bed, and the third with two 90 cm bunk beds and a work table. All of them are equipped with built-in closets. It also has two bright and spacious bathrooms and a laundry area. Guest access The area is pedestrianized and the building does not have its own parking. However, there are several parking lots nearby to leave the vehicle. We recommend leaving the vehicle in the Plaza Mayor parking lot, which is located 100 meters from the apartment, and with which we have an agreement to make it cheaper for you. If you are interested, the procedure is as follows: 1. You enter the parking lot and take the ticket from the machine. 2. In the apartment you will find a discount ticket that you will have to pass through the reader when you remove the vehicle. The price with this option is 12 euros every 24 hours (saving 6 euros per day compared to the normal rate). 3. If you leave and enter the parking lot several times during the 24 hours, you will have to validate the discount ticket in the cabin. Another option is to park the car in the upper old town, which is unregulated and therefore free. The nearest streets where there is usually space are Calle San Francisco, Calle Trinidad, Calle Azorín and Calle Delicias. Other nearby streets, but in the blue zone and therefore for a fee, are Avenida del Cid, Calle Hortelanos, and Calle Sanz Pastor. Other things to note The lantern of San Lorenzo is in a historic building and does not have an elevator. It is on the third floor with a hallway and newly renovated stairs that are wide and comfortable.
