Our tranquil, updated guesthouse is perfect for longer-term guests working remotely or visiting family. Previous guests have enjoyed waking up to birds or relaxing in the shaded back patio. Easy walk or quick drive to coffee, local eateries, Sprouts Market and Trader Joe's and yoga studio. Close to Pasadena, Glendale, JPL, Burbank and downtown LA. Fast Wi-Fi for WFH. We the owners live in the front house. We welcome guests and small dogs for stays of 30+ nights. The space Our 525-sf guest house has everything you need for a pleasant stay. It has a separate living room, kitchen and dining area, and bedroom with a large closet. The kitchen is well equipped (induction double burner, range hood, microwave, drip coffee maker, toaster oven, electric water kettle, mini fridge with separate freezer compartment. It’s well stocked with pots and pans, kitchen knives, cutting board, Brita pitcher, dishes and utensils, and wine glasses + wine opener. We have also supplied the space with cleaning products and a stick vacuum. Feel free to pick from the lemon, guava, and calamondin fruit trees in the backyard. We, the hosts and owners, live in the main house at the front of the property. We are on hand if you need anything. The backyard/patio separate the guest house and main house. We are quiet people and respect the same in our guests. Guest access Our home is located on a quiet residential street with plenty of free, unrestricted street parking. Guests will be provided with a change of clean linens (bath towels, bed sheets, pillow cases, and duvet cover) biweekly (or more often as requested). The guest house does not have a washer and dryer in unit. There is a laundromat a couple of blocks away. Other things to note Please send an inquiry before booking and wait for approval before confirming your reservation. We strive to respond within a few hours. Also we do not accept guests without reviews from other Airbnb hosts. It is the only way we can be sure of welcoming someone safely into our home. The City of Los Angeles charges an occupancy tax for stays of 30 nights or less. If you book for 31+ nights, you could save $300-400 on the tax. We look to welcome guests with a small dog (15 lbs or less). Please note that in your inquiry. There is no smoking (including vaping) of any kind on the premises. Violation will result in a fine equal to a quarter of the monthly charge and immediate termination of booking without a refund for the rest of the stay.
