Beaches & day trips

Our home is located in an upscale neighborhood 8-1O minutes from beach & a short walking distance to upscale shopping, restaurants, gym and main bus stop in Hilltop area of Virginia Beach. Spend the day on the beach or take day trips to surrounding historic cities. Guest may enter & exit our home w/o ever seeing us - it’s like having a private entrance. HOME IS A 2-STORY HOME W/BEDROOMS UPSTAIRS. Your room has a microwave, a refrigerator, coffee maker. You do NOT have access to kitchen. The space Our home has 4-bedrooms and 2.5 baths with a family room, formal dining and formal living room. Both the front and back yard are beautifully landscaped. Your bright bedroom is 150 sq. ft. with a closet and SHARED bathroom. The room is furnished with a regular size bed, desk, small refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. Your room has a window overlooking our beautiful back yard. Our favorite place is our back yard which my wife has made into a hidden paradise with a screened porch, a deck, fire pit, statues, water fountain and a butterfly and humming bird garden. A morning coffee or an afternoon grill out is a great way to start or end the day. You will have safe on street parking while enjoying our home. Our home has a screened porch, a deck and a fire pit in the back yard. A grill is located on the deck. The yard has beautiful bushes and flowers including a butterfly garden with Monarch butterflies and humming birds. During the spring, summer and fall, one may see a hummingbird or butterfly when you least expect it. Our guest may have their morning coffee while enjoying the cool morning breeze and the chirping birds, weather permitting. Our neighbors take great pride in maintaining their homes and their landscapes. Walking or biking within the neighborhood is quite relaxing, safe and enjoyable. A small neighborhood park is a 10-minute walk from our home. Upscale shopping at Hilltop Shopping district is a 20 minute walk. Interstate 264 is a 5-minute drive. Major bus stops are a 5-minute walk from our home. One can travel by bus to all major shopping centers including connecting with the new Tide Metro train , a part of the Hampton Roads transit system to all major attractions in Norfolk, VA. Guest access You are renting a bedroom and shared bath. Kitchen is not shared with any guests. However your room does have a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, tea pot and eating utensils. During your stay Our home has a screened porch, a deck and a fire pit in the back yard. A grill is located on the deck. Other things to note I have lived in 15 major US cities and 3 different countries. I have concluded that Southeast Virginia has the beaches, historical sites, museums and parks comparable to any other city or country. In addition, the mountains are a 3-hour drive which makes for an exciting day trip. Williamsburg is a 1.5 hour drive. The Outer Banks is a 2.5 hour drive which includes a ferry ride across the Sound. And the best point; to see all of this now as a guest in my home is very affordable with AirBnB.
