1888 Inn bordering Acadia Nat. Park
Harbourside Inn
Located in a historic Inn, in the village of Northeast Harbor. This first floor room accommodates two people, and has two twin beds, a fireplace and private bath. Harbourside Inn, built in 1888, is located on a wooded hillside a few minutes walk from the village of Northeast Harbor. The Inn was designed by the famed architect Fred Savage in the "shingle style" so popular to the Maine coast during the later part of the nineteenth century. The Inn consists of 14 guest rooms which vary in decor and accommodations. The Inn has free wi-fi, hiking maps for purchase, and books and games to borrow. A small coffee service is available each morning, consisting of freshly brewed organic coffee, organic teas, fresh fruit, oatmeal and granola bars. Happy to suggest restaurants and activities such as hiking , biking and swimming places. We are located in the village of Northeast harbor within walking distance to two incredible gardens plus town shops and the marina for Acadia Park tours with a naturalist up Somes Sound. You may catch the free Island Bus in town or the Marina. It goes right past the Inn. Our office closes at 8: 00pm, if you are arriving later please call for self check-in directions.
