The city in the countryside

Pleasant family accommodation, quiet and close to all sights and amenities, completely refurbished (February 2022). My house is bright, facing south with an unobstructed view, its wooded garden overlooks the fields that surround it in part. Outside you can find a garden designed to accommodate visitors and biodiversity. Depending on the season: figs, strawberries, cherries, peaches are self-service. However, I do not provide linens or towels. The space On the ground floor: - a common room 40-45 m2 (kitchen, living room, living room), TV - a fitted kitchen (gas cooker, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher) Upstairs: three bedrooms, two each with a 140 cm bed and one with two 80 cm beds, a bathroom (small bathtub and 120 cm shower), a toilet, a washing machine. For small children: highchair, bathtub and baby seat, folding crib. Outside: - Parking space with a shelter (sun and rain) for one car. - A shaded terrace. - Barbecue - A garden subject to weather conditions. From July the grass is toasted because it is forbidden to water. Among all the trees, some are dead, but I keep them because they represent places of refuge for biodiversity. Guest access Supermarkets are a 5-minute drive and a 10-minute walk away. The city center is a 10-minute drive away. Other things to note It's a house I stop at regularly. Also I leave a minimum in the fridge. Tourism: Fontenay le Comte is known for its street festival (theater, circus, concert) during the summer, a weekly market that welcomes local producers. Nearby you can discover the Mervent-Vouvant forest massif, the Abbey of Maillezais, the green Venice of the Marais Poitevin. You will also be an hour from the Vendée coast, Puy du Fou and Futuroscope, 40 minutes from La Rochelle.
