Please reach us via "LKVM Studio" to make private arrangements. —— Located at the heart of the Plateau-Mont-Royal, the LKVM Studio serves as a home gallery and workshop for the artistic partnership of Lekui and Solav. With its walls fully covered with art pieces and travel souvenirs, it is an ideal space for the curious mind and the art thirsty, and is at a close distance from the main parks and attractions. The space The accomodaton opens on a large open room which contains the livingroom, the diningroom as well as the kitchen and its islet. The two bedrooms and the washrooms are all located at the back of the apartment and are closed by sliding wooden doors. They give access to the garden area, which is surrounded by neighboring buildings and exit on the Saint-Denis backstreet. Back indoors, a large brick wall extends down the stairs leading to the basement workshop, which is currently used for acrylic painting and additionnal exhibition room. With its rail lighting, the entire lodging takes an obvious air of galery in which an intimate exhibition opening could very well materialize. Guest access Even though the majority of our street requires a parking vignette, there are several free spots spread around the neighborhood. In the worse scenario, there is a large parking lot right beside the building and many paid parking spots on surrounding arteries. For other types of transports, busses pass frequently on Saint-Denis Street, Rachel Street and Saint-Laurent Boulevard. Alternatively, the Mont-Royal Metro Station is only five minutes of walk away. During your stay Our goal with the opening of our space is ultimately to meet travelers and artists from around the globe. Whether you wish to remain quiet, to have a tranquil stay among us, or instead to often go out and explore the city, to share with us your discoveries, and even to join us in our artistic projects... we're really open to all types of interactions with our guests. At any time, if you're having questions, you'll be able to join us either directly, by phone or via social media. Other things to note Our home is a place of calm and culture. It is only in such an environment that we are able to produce new works. It is therefore crucial that our guests honor this aspect of the studio, notably by avoiding loud noises during standard sleeping hours or by adopting a compassionate attitude.
