The space The house is naturally very cool in summer with spacious airy Georgian rooms to waft about in and has everything you should need for a comfortable stay. An oak pannelled dining room, a huge sitting room, a seperate TV / play room (with a football table), and an outdoor games room with bar (beverages not included!) and full-sized pool table allow for families of different generations to cohabit peacefully! New for this year is a bar area with shaded terrace by the pool. It is nestled in the South Downs and surrounded by fields and trees. The grounds are 4.5 acres, comprising 2 acres of well tended gardens which includes the heated pool (which has a gated-fence round it for child safety), tennis court, an orchard, a children's swing and huge trampoline (no net..). Then there are 2.5 acres of oak woodland to explore - a mixture of bluebell clearings and laurel walkways leading you into a clearing with festoon lighting and huge oak banqueting table. Trees to climb, wildlife to spot, there is lots to do. Buzzards, woodpeckers and deer can be seen roaming about. Bats, badgers and glow worms can be spotted of an evening. Shut the automatic gates, relax and enjoy - you don't need to go anywhere! Guest perks include organic veg from the kitchen garden. You’ll also find everything included from dishwasher tabs to loo rolls. This is the perfect retreat for a family or two. It is not a party venue. The house is a lived-in family home, spotlessly clean, and very well equipped from picnic equipment to BBQ coals to swimming toys. Guest access The house with 4.5 acres of grounds is all yours. The house is semi-detached, but extremely private - no one can see you in the pool! It is situated on a quiet country lane. There is more parking than you can shake a stick at.
