Charming studio in the Heart of Wine Country

A small cottage located on 3 peaceful acres along Thompson Creek. The studio features a kitchenette, indoor and outdoor showers, a deck with BBQ. Guests are permitted 24-hour access of the grounds, including 400 feet of creek frontage. Breakfast goodies (fresh eggs, bagels, homemade jam, coffee/tea) provided with your stay. We are located just minutes from downtown Applegate. With 11 different wineries within a 15 minute drive, you'll be in the heart of Southern Oregon's wine country. The space Our cottage is a separate outbuilding that we lovingly remodeled into a hotel-style guest room. The space features a clean, bright, farmhouse-chic style with repurposed antique furniture. The kitchenette will come stocked with breakfast treats from our little farm - such as fresh eggs and homemade jam from wild plum trees or our raspberry patch. Feel free to grab some veg from our garden! A BBQ, outdoor dining set, and seasonal outdoor shower is located on your own private deck with creek views. We are home to two cats, a 6-year-old puppy, 2 Nigerian goats, and fourteen chickens (no roosters). They are all well behaved. You may hear the chickens in the morning. Guest access All three acres are yours to explore! Feel free to walk on our trails, swim in the creek, read in the yard, or see what our garden has to offer. Our property is very secluded-- Our neighbors are not visible from anywhere in the back acreage. Other things to note NOTE: In the late summer months we often experience a fair amount of smoke from nearby forest fires. If you're sensitive to poor air quality, we suggest you visit in the fall, winter, spring, or early summer.
