At Road's End, Little Gables, built primarily from recycled materials, lies on the forest’s edge of Doctors Gully. While offering a country setting this studio cottage is conveniently located only a 10 minute walk from the main street of Daylesford and a five minute drive to Hepburn Springs. Privately fenced from the main property, Little Gables is affordable accommodation for two. It is roomy, light and comfortable. A walk into the bush or a walk into town, both are at Little Gable's doorstep. The space Little Gables, rustic in nature, is privately set on a corner of a half acre property. Day walkers, kangaroos, birds and even an echidna may wander past while you view the rural and tranquil setting from the verandah. The kitchenette contains the essentials for basic meal preparation and a BBQ with extra pot burner is ready to fire up when a stay in meal is preferred. The many highly regarded Cafes and Restaurants of both Daylesford and Hepburn are well within reach just a five minute drive. For the more energetic there is a network of walking tracks beyond the cottage that wander through the Gully’s forest leading to Daylesford eastward or the Springs of Hepburn due west. In the evening, when the sun fades, enjoy the colours from the west facing verandah. If they feel inclined the local kangaroos just may join you. Other things to note Off street parking for one car is available for guests of Little Gables. Please park in front of the Little Gables parking sign, front or back of your car facing the sign. This allows guests and resident cars to share the parking space and to come and go freely at anytime.
