Hawthorne Guest House - heated king bed

Romantic light-filled apartment in the heart of the Hawthorne/Belmont neighborhoods. Enjoy vinyl records from your heated King size bed and shower in a sky-lit bathroom with a heated floor and a spacious stone tiled shower. Located behind the host’s house, the guest house is a private space, separated by a fence and with its own entrance and private patio. A walkable neighborhood, there are so many nearby restaurants, bars, and stores in the Hawthorne, Belmont and Division neighborhoods. The space The neighborhood is classic Portland: great for walking and biking, close to three of the East Side's most popular, restaurant-rich commercial strips: Hawthorne, Belmont and Division. The guest house is located on a beautiful leafy street and designated greenway (aka "Bike Boulevards"), where many bike commuters ride to and from downtown every day. You'lll be within blocks of cafe's, restaurants, book stores, thrift stores, and the wonderful Bagdad movie theatre. The space is a converted barn with a giant and very comfortable king bed. A heated mattress pad with a timer lets you come home to a cozy warm bed and the brand new bathroom has a stone tiled shower and heated tile floor. The kitchen is minimal, including a microwave, kettle, fridge, and a Chemex coffee maker. Not the right spot if you plan to cook, but why bother in this neighborhood. The space is rustic but designed for ultimate comfort and relaxation. Warm and cozy in the winter, and with lots of trees providing shade in the summer months, keeping it cool, along with a fan. If you like music there is a turntable and a stack of records to choose from. No TV, and well behaved pets are welcome - please check 'pet' when listing guests in the reservation, as there is an additional cleaning fee. Guest access Private entrance to the guest house, as well as a private patio for lounging.
