Green Mountain National Forest for hiking, cross country skiing, wading in rivers. 45 minutes to Sugarbush, only 6 minutes to Rikert Nordic Center and Middlebury College Snowbowl, 15 minutes to downtown Middlebury. Space is clean, simple, and cozy with nice window views. Kitchen is fully equipped. Upstairs bedroom has queen bed, and downstairs has pull out futon couch. Stairway leading upstairs is narrow. Screen porch for hanging out in warm weather. Entire cottage is available, with parking space across from cottage in front of red barn. We are available by email/phone throughout the day; our house is located right behind rental cottage. Neighborhood on a quiet street, close to the Green Mountain National Forest. Town of Middlebury is ten miles away with selection of eateries, stores and college campus. Ten miles from town of Middlebury, and one mile to Ripton Country General Store. Snow tires recommended for winter.
