Jondu Farm Stay in Koekenaap, large family room.

We are living on a wine farm, next to the West Coast of South Africa. The cold Atlantic ocean provides us with a nice cool breeze. Our location is ideal for day visits to the beach, wine tasting, exploring the nearby Cederberg and Namakwaland flowers in season. The private room features an on suite bathroom and second room where e.g a child can sleep, or can be used as a sitting area. Guests have their own entrance to the outside area to enjoy the garden or light a fire if you wish. The space We have two rooms with an on suite bathroom that is suitable for a family. a Small bar fridge,kettle andNespresso for your convenience are in your room, with rusks,fruit, milk and muesli free of charge. The pricelist for Softdrinks,yoghurt, beer etc, are on the fridge and you can put the cash in the small tin provided. You are welcome to go for a walk on the farm, relax with a good book in the garden or have a glass of wine on the "stoep". Meals can be prepared for you on request (Supper- R120pp with glass of wine and breakfast, incl coffee or tea, R80 pp) or you can have your own snacks/food/takeaways on the patio with microwave,kettle,gasbraai for your conveniece. Please keep in mind no kitchen or TV in the room available. Guest access Coffee/tea on the house! You can enjoy the garden,visit the nearby restaurants and winecellars. The room has the basic- plates,glasses,mugs, cutlery. You can leave the dishes to be cleaned on the table outside. We'll put it back in your room before you come back after a day of sightseeing. During your stay On arrival, after you settled down, you are welcome to have a coffee/tea on the patio with us and we can discuss the things you want to do or go see. Ask any questions, we will gladly try to be of assistance. We love to share stories but do respect your privacy if prefer. Please let us know in advance if you want breakfast or supper- we are living on a farm and need to be prepared:) Other things to note We love our three dogs, cat and an African Grey, but do respect our guests privacy. They are not allowed in the guestsrooms. Your remote for the gate and keys are in your room. The gate opens automatic on leaving, but you need the remote when coming back. Please make sure the gate is closed before leaving- to make sure our dogs stay inside. It is safe to park your car under the big family tree by the wine barrels or at the big doors to the right after the gate.
