A refurbished, stylish holiday cottage with great Wi-Fi, in a quaint, peaceful location. Relax in the private south facing garden, quite a sun trap. The dog friendly local pub has a pool table/dart board and an open fire going. A canal walk is nearby, enjoy the country pubs along the way with delicious food drinks. The coast is only a short drive away for sunny days on the beach and the Lakes are just an hour away. A long soak in the roll top bath, with a treetop view is a must! The space A surprisingly large open space which is unusual for a terraced cottage. The front door opens up into a storm porch, with a wall mirror and plenty of hooks for coats and bags. It leads into the open plan lounge and dining space, with a fantastic log burner to sit around on cold evenings. The large corner sofa bed opens up with a double bed with a substantial sprung mattress. At the back of the cottage is the kitchen, with a Ragemaster cooker and a Smeg fridge. The granite worktops, old butler sink and wooden cupboards and shelving are fully equipped for home cooking and dining around the farmhouse style table. The kitchen leads to the secluded back garden, with York stone walls, flower beds and patio. Upstairs the bathroom has a roll top bath and a separate shower cubicle that includes a powerful shower. The stairs, landing and bedrooms have cosy new fitted carpets. The main bedroom has an open fireplace and a king size bed, the second bedroom has a single bed with a pull out truckle bed underneath. All rooms are double glazed and have central heating with a Hive smart thermometer. Everything you need for a perfect holiday cottage. (Long term stays are reduced in price considerably so towels/toiletries will not be included and gas/electric bills may be charged if they go over a sensible amount). Other things to note Free parking directly outside the front of the cottage (roadside). The neighbours only park directly outside their own cottage, keeping everyone’s space available for each other. Free parking in the car park opposite for any additional cars.
