Cottage centrally located on Gaustablikk with a lovely view of Kvitåvatn, Toreskyrkja and Gaustatoppen. Has a 38 sqm, undisturbed, cozy and sunny terrace. The cabin has a good standard and is ideal for a family of 4-7 people. Immediate proximity to Gausta alpine facilities, the area's cross-country ski trails, Gaustablikk mountain resort and happy sportsman. * two parking spaces are included with the cabin approx. 20-30 meters away. * You must bring your own bed linen and towels. * Laundry can be ordered. * WIFI, AppleTV and T-we The space The cabin is privately owned. The sauna stove has been removed so that it is no longer a sauna. 150 meters to Tinn lift for alpine skiing. 700-800 meters to the hotel with main alpine slope and ski rental. Check Gausta's own App (Gausta app) or websites (Gausta dot com) for information on season and opening hours of the alpine slopes. Cross-country skiing starts about 50 meters from the cabin. In summer there are many hiking opportunities in the area where the cabin is a very good starting point. Guest access The cabin comes with 2 parking spaces in defined areas about 20-30 meters from the cabin. The areas are marked kvitåvatn terrace 1-11. It is not allowed to park next to the cabin. But unloading of the car is allowed. NOTE: In wintertime the road up from the main road (10-15 meters) to the cabin is very slippery and it is recommended not to drive the car up. Outbuilding on the back is not available for guests. Storage at the entrance is available. Other things to note * Firewood is included in the price. This corresponds to 40 L sack. Or 16 cubes. Firewood can also be purchased in a local store called Pose og Sekk, or purchased down in Rjukan. Axe is easily accessible if there is a need to chop firewood. The cabin has internet via fiber cable and provides a very good internet speed. On departure, the cabin must be cleaned to a good standard. The cabin must be cleaned and garbage removed. Wash-out can be booked in advance of your stay and costs NOK 1200. Water lock inside the "sauna" room must be closed completely on departure. This is done by pressing OFF on the switch
