Our space is private and detached from our primary home. It has a separate, private entrance through the yard in the back of the house. There is room for parking in the driveway. With a private bath and separate heating and cooling this space is perfect for someone to stay and feel like they have their own space. The Guest Suite is located one mile from Hobart Arena, Arbogast Performing Arts Center, shopping and restaurants in historic downtown Troy and close to I-75. This room has a big east facing window so you get plenty of morning sun. There is lots of natural light! Darkening shades are provided for nightime and privacy. There is a 55" flat screen TV with local channels and Roku to access your favorite streaming services. A microwave, mini fridge, and coffee maker (Keurig and regular) are provided for your convenience. The desk is long with plenty of space to spread out if you need to get some work done while you are here. Guests have access to a large master suite, bath, and private entrance through the back of the house. I really enjoy meeting our guests! If I see you as you are coming and going I try to say hello. I am typically home or not far away so if you need anything or have any questions I am available. Within walking distance (or a short drive) of downtown Troy you can enjoy many local shops, boutiques, restaurants and activities. The city of Troy holds many festivals "On The Square", the most famous of which is the Strawberry Festival. This Festival is held the first weekend of June. Also the Great Miami River Recreation Trail runs through Troy, not far from my place. This is a 57 mile long bike & recreational trail that begins in Piqua and ends in Middletown. I am a 5 minute walk from the nationally recognized "Hobart Urban Nature Preserve". This beautiful preserve is located in the heart of Troy and is even home to a family of deer. I am located one mile from Hobart Arena and 1 mile from I-75. It is a 15 minute walk to downtown Troy for shopping, local restaurants and boutiques, festivals, and the Farmer's Market on Saturdays in the summer. I am also near the Great Miami River Recreation Trail. There are lots of local restaurants, chain restaurants, and fast food restaurants within a 5 minute drive of my place. Entrance to our space is through our back yard. There is not a paved walkway to get to the door. This may be a problem for guests with limited mobility.
