Holiday home for 2 adults with swimming pool

Welcome to Domaine Le Martinet, a small-scale holiday paradise only for adults, consisting of 3 detached gîtes for up to 2 people each and a nice large swimming pool with sun terrace. Green hills and valleys, as far as the eye can see. Our little domain, where we also live, is nice and quiet on a dead-end road but is close to all the necessary shops, fine restaurants and tourist attractions. Remote, in the countryside, but not isolated. The space At the end of a small dead-end road where you could at most meet our postman, lies this nice place in the former hamlet of Le Martinet. What was once an ordinary residential house has now become a cozy hideaway for two. Everything is on the same floor, and the thick stone walls provide natural cooling in the summer. Does it get a little chilly in the evening? Then you just turn on the pellet stove – cozy! Around the gîte you will find two seating areas and on the side there is a beautiful large wooden terrace under the trees. Of course, completely furnished to be able to relax (cool) in this shady place and to see the sun disappear behind the hills every evening. On this terrace you can sit privately with views over the lower pool and the green valley. So find a nice (hanging) spot in the hammock or on one of the lazy (lounging) chairs, and the great doing nothing can begin. On the terrace in front of your cottage, the plancha is already waiting for you. All you have to do is light it, uncork the bottle, and the feast can begin. And what about that dead-end road next to the cottage? That leads into a forest path that takes you directly to beautiful hiking and biking trails in the area. Want to ride along? Definitely do. You have your own lockable storage right next to the cottage – it's that easy. And the pool beckons? Then quickly grab your swimming gear and splash in it. Our other 2 gîtes La Forge and La Petite Bergerie are also listed on Airbnb. We do not rent to a group. Guest access You can park your car on our own premises. There is no place for campers. There is a charging station (3.7 kW, no fast charger, so with a regular socket) in the parking lot. You can use this at night, for a charge. We charge a rate of €0.40 per kWh for this. You share the swimming pool with the other guests (maximum 4 other guests). Other things to note Did you know that the Lot has been declared one of the departments with the best air quality in France? Add to that the pleasant climate, the still present peace and space, the absent mass tourism, et voilà, you have the perfect combination for a successful vacation. Life in the Lot is wonderful and takes place especially outside. Our gîtes are smoke and pet free and only for adults. To maintain peace and quiet, visitors are not allowed on our premises. We do not rent to a group. The gîtes and the grounds are not suitable for people with mobile disabilities.
