Description
Private room in a quirky cottage in the centre of the village. Look out over the garden, wander to the village pubs or take a walk along the canal. This is where I live and work so I'll often be around. My two cats might want to say hello. You can help yourself to bean-to-cup coffee in the kitchen (or a selection of teas). You can also make use of the washer-dryer. Street parking is usually available - or the closest pub is happy for you to use their car park. My stairs are very steep! The space The room has a double bed and a small walk-in wardrobe area. It's quiet and looks out over the garden. The shared bathroom has a bath with electric shower (not massively powerful, sorry) but plenty of hot water. You are welcome to use shower gel, bubble bath, soap, shampoo & conditioner. There will also be spare toothbrushes and toothpaste if you need it. Guest access You're welcome to sit in the garden, eat or work at the dining table and play with the cats. There is a TV (Netflix & Amazon Prime) in the lounge. Also, plenty of books to keep you entertained. You'll have use of the kitchen for hot and cold drinks. You can also use the toaster and prepare your own food. I'd just prefer you not to cook meat or fish as I'm vegetarian (but if you just want to eat it precooked, no problem!). During your stay I'll be happy to have a chat over a glass of wine or a coffee in the garden. Other things to note If you're a smoker or vaper, you are welcome to do this in the garden (or rear porch if it's raining) - just make sure the door to the house is closed.
