Cozy Affordable Studio Steps from DC

Come enjoy a cozy, well-lit basement studio in a funky and family friendly neighborhood just two blocks from DC. You'll have a well-equipped kitchen, private laundry facilities, a large yard and parking. The space The basement studio has a private entrance on the side of our house, literally, where the boardwalk ends. It has one queen bed. There is also a fold-down futon that can sleep one, but may be tight. The kitchen is well equipped with pots, pans and cooking utensils and has a fridge, microwave and stove with an oven. You will also have your own, private washer and dryer machine. There is a small bathroom with a shower. We also have a large, fenced yard. The studio has plenty of space for one, is cozy for two and works for a small family for shorter stays. Please note: We are currently only looking for guests staying at least two months - or longer. Several notes: - PETS: We are a pet friendly house both upstairs and downstairs. We welcome people traveling with pets as we have several of our own - a large dog and cat that live upstairs. And we have ducks in our backyard. - CEILING HEIGHT: The ceilings are about 7ft high, so super tall folks might not be comfortable here. - NOISE: While the space is updated, this is a basement in an old house so you will likely hear the pitter patter of small feet or paws, particularly early mornings when we are getting ready for work and school. We have a no jumping rule that kids are pretty good about but we cannot promise they will 100 percent adhere to it. Who We Are: We are a small family, including two early elementary school aged kids and large, overly friendly dog and wily cats. We both work full time, sometimes from home, sometimes at an office, depending on the day or time of year. We have a native plant and fruit garden in the front of our house and, during the right seasons, a sizeable vegi garden in the back. Guest access Guests have access to private laundry, kitchen, the backyard and internet.
